Power Point Presentation
Yoshika Sekine, PhD, Professor at Tokai University, Japan, President, Society of Indoor Environment, Japan, along with a team of scientists carried out research on PATM Syndrome . We are highly thankful to all of them for giving their precious time to researching and exploring PATM Syndrome.

On April 14, 2018, the Founder and Executive Director of MEBO Research, Maria de la Torre, asked Prof. Sekine to help present his work to raise awareness throughout the globe from the MEBO Annual Conference & Meetup held in Savannah, Georgia this year. Our most sincere thanks to Prof. Yoshika for creating a PowerPoint presentation and providing us with his research paper on the study . We have shared this in many forums through platform of MEBO . The research paper was in Japanese language so MEBO arranged to translate the PATM Syndrome research paper in English language with the help of Director of Community Outreach and Strategy , Mehmet Ali.

Again Sir, thanks you very much for working on this syndrome. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you believe there is anything I can do to support your work.

Research paper is property of Prof. Yoshika and their co-authors and is translated and presented in the MEBO sites with their expressed consent.  We want to raise awareness throughout the globe about PATM syndrome using this effort of Prof and his team of scientists. I hope this information is helpful to other scientists and inspires future research into PATM...

Be a Participant in MEBO Research Study

ATTENTION SUFFERERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
Would you like to participate
in a MEBO Research Study?

Through these past 10 years of MEBO’s existence, it has always been and will always be our top priority to honor the U.S. HIPPA LAW and any other similar government law of any country, which calls for the complete privacy of personal identifying data.
MEBO’s Scientific Director, Irene Gabashvili, PhD., is the Principal Investigator of MEBO’s three (3) Clinical Trials. As noted in this post in the MEBO Blog, she is currently working on the ongoing study, ‘Microbes of anti-social odor’, and she’s asking all sufferers for help.

If you ever wanted to support or participate in research of any types of breath/body odor conditions and/or PATM, but were frustrated because no research funding is available to allow research to come to fruition, please note that this is your opportunity. All three MEBO clinical trials were funded by participants/sufferers who paid for their tests and donated their results to MEBO, since MEBO has no research funding available. Irene then volunteered her time and work to analyzing all the data and arriving at preliminary findings. Then she shares them with us in the MEBO Blog (scroll down to see all posts), without ever disclosing personal information. Some of the very interesting findings she has arrived at are posted in the following posts in her Aurametrix Blog (scroll down to see all posts).

Irene will then continue to post to the community the preliminary and ongoing reports of the study, as she obtains more and more data from sufferers, until a pretty solid picture begins to emerge. This has been the MEBO way through the years, and we hope to be able to continue doing so for years to come.

Of course, much more research is needed to support or clarify these preliminary findings, and this is you opportunity to help!

In order to best help you understand these results in relation to your odor condition, you would need to send the results to me to maria.delatorre@meboresearch.org, so that I can de-identify them, and then I'll send them to Irene using DropBox, a more secure way of sending files.  She will then include you data in her study. Otherwise, you can email your results to Irene directly at irene.gabashvili@meboresearch.org
To help, you can click on the “uBiome Gut: 10% OFF” button/icon on the upper right side of this blog and purchase your own gut microbiome test. You will receive your results directly from uBiome. As this study progresses, Irene will then have the necessary information to recommend the proper protocol for each type of condition. This will help you find a way to control your odor symptoms. It’s a win-win situation.

If you prefer to send me your results by mail, the MEBO address is:
